Frequently Asked Question: Database Access

Posted on: Oct 6, 2006 @ 12:00:00 am
Question: Can I access the databases from my home computer?
Answer: You can log in to the databases from off-campus with a UCF ID card that has been activated by the Library. If your ID has not been activated, you can get it activated:
1.) in person at any UCF Library, or
2.) by using the online ID Activation Request Form.
To log in with an activated ID card, click on the Off-Campus Access link on our homepage and then enter your library card number and your password (by default, the last four digits of your social security number).
If you do not have a UCF ID card or if your card does not work after activation, visit the Library's Off Campus Access page for more information.
