Comment: Restroom renovations. Bring back the no drink sign.
Thanks for your comment; thanks for your concern for the environment in the main library.
At present, there are no plans and no funding to renovate any of the main library restrooms. Library administration continues to try to find options for improving library facilities, including the restrooms.
The food and drink policy of the library changed some years ago. Beverages with a snapped on or screwed on top or cap are permitted. Cold snacks are permitted, but hot, smelly food is not, to try to prevent food odors and messes from interfering with the library experience of others. Hot food can be taken to Infusion and eaten there.
This is really important: Immediately notify library staff regarding messes or spilling in the library. We will thank you for letting us know. The faster we clean it up, the better. Thanks!
