from the library: It's true: the Research Assistance Desk is not open during all of the hours that the main library is open. There are some options for research assistance that may help you when time is an issue. Ask A Librarian's chat service is open until midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The hours are covered by librarians across the state of Florida, including UCF librarians. When UCF's chat service is open, you will be chatting with a UCF librarian. If not, your question will be answered by someone from another library.
Another option: schedule a Research Consultation. You can schedule an appointment with a reference librarian, who will help you get started on your research, or will help you continue research that is underway. Research Consultations bring you together with a librarian who is available to help you at a time that is convenient to you.
