FRIDAY: Negro League Legends, a baseball fan's dream come true!

***Friday March 19 Noon - 1:30 p.m. Library Main Floor Negro League Legends. Come join a rousing conversation and discussion with four Negro League Legends.

Friday March 19 6:30 p.m. Go to the UCF baseball game and see the Legends there. Go Knights! Beat Presbyterian College!

***Monday March 22; 7.00 - 8:30 p.m. Library room 223
Lee Lowenfish, author of Branch Rickey: Baseball's Ferocious Gentleman, will present a talk entitled "Conservative Revolutionary: How Branch Rickey's Signing of Jackie Robinson Jump-Started the Civil Rights Movement After World War Two."

***Tuesday March 30; 7.00- 8:30 p.m. Library room 223
Richard Lapchick, Endowed Chair and Director, Devos Sport Business Management Program, will present a talk entitled "It Wasn't Just Baseball: Great African-American Basketball Players Back in the Day."

***Monday April 5; 12:00 - 1:30 P.M., Library room 223
William Sutton, Professor, Devos Sport Business Management Program, will present a talk entitled "Jackie Robinson: Intended and Unintended Consequences of Breaking the Color Barrier."

***Monday April 12; 7:00 - 8:30 P.M., Library room 223
Dr. Richard Crepeau, Professor of History, will present a talk entitled, "The Negro Leagues: What Have We Learned and Where Do We Go from Here?
