UCF's main campus library will be hosting a major series of programs and exhibits exploring the African American baseball experience and related themes:
"Pride & Passion: The African American Baseball Experience"
March 5 - April 15, 2010
At the main UCF Library, Orlando Campus
The UCF Libraries was selected as one of 50 nationwide sites for this exhibition, which was organized by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and the American Library Association and funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Baseball fans and history buffs of all kinds will find something to enjoy in the UCF Libraries' six-week series of exhibits and festivities, including exhibits and paintings, talks by baseball scholars, a panel of former Negro League players, and more!

Rosen Connection:
Rosen's Head Librarian, Tim Bottorff, is heavily involved in the planning and execution of UCF's Pride & Passion exhibition and programming. Tim got his start in librarianship at the National Baseball Library, part of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
