This year UCF will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Diversity Week from October 15-19. Special events will be held on UCF campuses throughout the week. A full listing of events can be found on the UCF Office of Diversity Initiatives website (http://www.diversity.ucf.edu/).
As part of Diversity Week, faculty, staff, and students on the Rosen Campus have the opportunity to participate in the free UCF Allies Advance workshop. The Advance workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 17th from 1pm to 3:30pm in room 120F.
This interactive workshop is conducted to raise awareness and educate about issues facing the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) population. Participants will have the opportunity to receive a placard designating themselves as an Ally. Please see the UCF Allies program website for more information (http://allies.sdes.ucf.edu/).
