|UCF Document Delivery||Interlibrary Loan|
|Description||UCF-owned articles and book chapters are scanned for electronic delivery through the ILLiad system. UCF-owned books are checked out to your library account and delivered delivered by mail to your home address.||Books and articles are located and requested from U.S. and some international libraries. Articles are delivered electronically through the ILLiad system, books are delivered by mail to your home address.|
|Fees||You are responsible for return postage for books.||Fees up to $35.00 per item subsidized by the ILL/DDS Dept.

|Delivery Time||Articles: 24 to 48 hours
Books: 5 to 10 days
(Items not located at UCF Main Campus are automatically requested via interlibrary loan.)

(Books are checked out to your UCF library account.)
|Typically 2 to 3 weeks (set by lending library)|
|Renewals||UCF-owned books requested through Document Delivery may be renewed by logging into your library account.||One, at the discretion of the lending library (typically 2 weeks). Choose the “Request Renewal” tab within ILLiad.|
