Connecting to the UCF Wireless Network

Wireless internet access is available throughout the Libraries. Guests (non-students) may use an unsecured UCF wireless network without login or registration.

• UCF Network - For secure access to the web and to use other internet services. Students and employees are encouraged to use the UCF_WPA2 network. If your device does not support WPA2, use the UCF_WPA network. See brief instructions below or the UCF Wireless Networks page for full information.
• Guest Network - Single-day unsecure access to the web. See brief instructions below.

The UCF Networks

UCF_WPA2 & UCF_WPA

1. Follow the UCF Networking instructions to connect to UCF_WPA2 or UCF_WPA
2. When prompted to log in, enter your NID and NID password.

The Guest Network

About the Guest wireless network. This network is intended for visitors to the university only. It has limited access, is insecure, and expires after 24 hours.

1. Use your networking software to look for UCF_Guest in your list of available networks
2. Use your networking software to connect to UCF_Guest
3. Start your web browser and try to load a web page.
   The UCF Guest Wireless page should load.
4. Read the terms and conditions, and click I Agree.
5. You can browse most websites for a 24 hour period on an insecure connection.
