Everything printed from public PCs is sent to a network that you can access at print
stations on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are three black and white print stations and one
color print station.
Printing cost 10¢ per sheet. Your UCF ID is used to pay for prints with
money stored on its strip. There are Cash to Card machines on the 2nd and
3rd floors of the Libraries. Insert your UCF ID then insert cash to add to the balance on
your ID.
As of Fall 2010 the "chip" on UCF IDs will no longer be used.
UCF
Libraries Copy Services can help transfer money form your ID's chip to its strip.
Enter a name for the print job (initials work fine in most cases) and click <OK>. You can send multiple documents to the printer before going to the Print Station
to retrieve them.
Go to any Print Station.
Slide your UCF ID or Copy Card through the reader on the right side of the computer
monitor.
Your password is the last four digits of your PID.
Select your print job (on the computer monitor by the printer) and click <Print> or
<Delete> (if you no longer want the print).
Repeat to print additional papers.
The exact cost of the print job, the number of pages in the document, and the balance
on the copy card will display.
