University of Michigan Documents Center is a central reference and referral point for government information, whether local, state, federal, foreign or international. Its web pages are a reference and instructional tool for government, political science, statistical data, and news.

Uncle Sam Migrating Government Publications (Univ of Memphis) - The scope of this list is limited to serials and periodicals and includes those publications in dual format and in electronic (Internet) format only. It is arranged both alphabetically by title and by Superintendent of Documents classification number.

Meta-Subject Index to Government Information (Stephen Woods - Idaho State Univ) is intended to direct the user to Subject Indexes which have been created for the purpose of identifying government internet resources in a given subject area.

FirstGov is intended to be a single, customer-focused website where citizens can find every online resource offered by the federal government.

Search Full-Text U.S. Internet Government Periodicals (Washburn Univ)

Index to Military Periodicals (Air University Library) indexes significant articles, news items, and editorials from English language military and aeronautical periodicals. The electronic index covers 1990+. 

U.S. Government Periodicals on the Web (Auburn Univ) identifies online access to indexing and full text, including those titles available through other databases such as ABI/INFORM, Statistical Universe, ERIC, MEDLINE, PsycInfo, and PAIS.

Other Databases

Davis-Bacon Wage Determination Database (current) 
Identifies prevailing wage rates for construction-related occupations in most counties in the United States. All Federal Government construction contracts and most contracts for federally assisted construction over $2,000 must contain Davis-Bacon wage determinations. The Service Contract Act Wage Determination Database contains unsigned copies of the latest wage determinations setting the minimum wage on federally funded service contracts. Updated weekly.

Some Davis-Bacon wage rates for Florida are freely available on the Florida Department of Transportation's State Construction Office website.
DOE Information Bridge
Includes the full text of over 58,000 DOE-sponsored research and development reports in physics, chemistry, materials, biology, environmental sciences, energy technologies, engineering, computer and information science, renewable energy, and other topics.

ERIC - Educational Resources Information Center (1966- )
Index of published and unpublished sources on thousands of educational topics, with journal articles (EJ#s) from CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education) and documents (ED#s) from RIE (Resources in Education). Note: This version of ERIC includes links to the UCF Library holdings for journal titles.

Florida Documents Index
Identifies publications housed in the Florida Documents Collection at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). The collection includes public documents distributed by the State Library of Florida since 1967 under the Florida Public Documents Depository Program. The other State Depository Libraries includes many of these same documents.

Provides free access to MEDLINE, covering all areas of medicine, including clinical medicine, experimental medicine, dentistry, nursing, health services administration, nutrition, allied health, and veterinary medicine.
Internet Grateful MED provides free access to databases, including AIDSLINE, AIDSDRUGS, AIDSTRIALS, BIOETHICSLINE, ChemID, HealthSTAR, HISTLINE, POPLINE, SPACELINE, and TOXLINE.

Military Education & Research Library Network offers the combined resources of the largest and most comprehensive collections of military information resources in the world by providing access to the library holdings of the military education libraries in the United States and Europe: Air University, Armed Forces Staff College, Combined Arms Research, Marine Corps University, Marshall Center, National Defense University, Naval Postgraduate School, Naval War College, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Army War College, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, U.S. Military Academy, and U.S. Naval Academy.

National Climatic Data Center

NCJRS - National Criminal Justice Research Service

Statistics on the U.S. economy and international trade.  Includes daily trade leads. State of the Nation provides current and historical economic and financial releases and economic data. GLOBUS & NTDB provide current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities, country analysis, and the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB).

TRIS Online
The Transportation Research Information Services database provides 400,000 bibliographic records covering transportation research published in books, journal articles, technical reports and other media; coverage of Federal, state, local and association publications; coverage of the literature from the 1960s to the present, with some coverage of prior years; selected links to full text or sources of full text; links to the IRRD database for further coverage of international transportation; searching capability by author, title, subject.
