Requirements for Approved Exhibits
- Photos/slides or digital images of examples of the items to be displayed may accompany
this application.
- Explanatory/narrative text to accompany exhibit must be clear and concise, indicating
background of the artist and/or group and theme. The text must be professional in
format and presentation and suitable for public display.
- The exhibit must have a professional appearance.
- Mounting and dismantling of exhibits/displays are the responsibility of the exhibitor.
- Exhibits must be mounted and dismantled on schedule or the reservation may be forfeited.
Exhibit set up usually occurs on the first business day of the month.
- The Library will not be responsible for storage of exhibits not removed on time
and no storage facility is available. Exhibit breakdown usually occurs on the last
business day of the month.
- All costs (labor, equipment, supplies, signs, labels, insurance, etc.) associated
with a display will be the responsibility of the exhibitor.
- The Library and the University assume no liability for losses or damages to materials
exhibited.
If selected to exhibit in the UCF Library, I agree to abide by the attached regulations
and requirements and the Library’s policies and procedures. I also agree to allow my name
and images from my display to be used on the Library’s web site and on any promotional materials.
