Off Campus Access with EZproxy

Off-campus access to the Libraries' electronic resources is limited to faculty, staff and currently enrolled UCF students.

Library ID Number:
Password: Default is the last 4 digits of your PID. PID Help.	EZProxy Login Help.
Note to returning students: Your password may be the last four digits of your SSN.

Instructions:

• Enter your activated Library ID number (your Library ID number is on your UCF card)
• Enter your password. The new default password is the last 4 digits of your PID.
  For example, if your PID is s123456 , then your password is 3456. Help with your PID.
  Note to returning students: Your password may be the last four digits of your SSN.
• Click the Login button, and then click “Yes” to accept the Security Alert(s).

Library ID

Getting a Card

If you need a UCF ID card, contact the UCF Card Office. If you are a Distance Student, you can request a Library ID number by submitting a Library ID Request form online or by calling the Circulation Desk (Orlando Campus) at 407-823-2580.

Activating your Library ID number:

Your Library ID number is not activated until it is scanned at a Circulation Desk or you submit an activation request. If you have not checked out materials in the Libraries, you probably need to activate your number.

• Stop at the Circulation Desk and have your card scanned or
• Submit a Library ID Activation Request form online.

Password

Changing Your Password

Your EZproxy password is controlled by your account in the Library Catalog. To change your password:

• Sign-in to the catalog using your default password. The default password is the last 4 digits of your PID. Returning students' passwords may be the last four digits of their SSN.
  • If you are not a student, use the last 4 digits of your Drivers License.
• Enter your old password, then enter your new password 2 times. Your new password can be any combination of letters and numbers.
• You can enter a password reminder question and answer.
• Your EZproxy password is changed as soon as you finish changing your catalog password.

Forgot Your Password?

• Contact the UCF Library Circulation department. Be prepared to provide your Library ID and PID.
