Bio

Hal Mendelsohn has had the pleasure of working in the UCF Reference Department since April 2001. Hal enjoys being a reference librarian which allows him to interact with students, faculty, staff, and community members by assisting them with their professional, personal and educational research needs. In addition to working at the reference desk, Hal works with professors and students in his collection areas Psychology, Social Work, and Patents and Trademarks) obtaining resources for those areas. As part of his responsibilities, Hal teaches students in various disciplines how to locate and use the library resources. As the Patents and Trademark Librarian, Hal works one-on-one with those who want to patent their ideas or trademark their company/product name.
