CMC Orientation

Overview

Watch the following videos on using the CMC and the UCF Libraries' catalog. You will then complete the orientation worksheet. You may either print a copy of the worksheet (PDF) or ask for a copy at the CMC desk. It is important that you complete this orientation on your own.

Please take a few minutes to watch this video on the CMC. It will help orient you to the Curriculum Materials Center. Flash Video Here

Once you have finished the orientation video please take a few minutes to watch a tutorial on using the UCF Libraries' Catalog. Flash Video Here

Please note that you will need the sound on for both of these videos. If you are in the CMC you will need to ask for a pair of headphones at the CMC desk.

 

CMC Orientation Assignment

You will now need to complete the CMC Orientation Worksheet (PDF). For this assignment you must first choose a grade level and then a subject you would like to teach the students. The worksheet will direct you to various areas of the CMC where you will be asked to find materials that will aid in the teaching of this material. If you have any questions please ask one of the CMC staff members for assistance.
