About the Joint-Use Library

The Joint-Use Library at Sanford/Lake Mary is a partnership between Seminole Community College (SCC) and University of Central Florida (UCF).

Combined library collections are available to support the curriculum and research of both community college and university students, and include over 109,000 books, 600+ current periodical subscriptions, and a large number of proprietary research databases.

Students, faculty, and staff with an activated UCF ID card have many library and information services available to them at the Joint-Use Library:

• Book borrowing privileges (No limit; 3 week borrowing period)
• UCF proprietary databases
• Reserve materials
• Audio/visual materials
• Printing/copying
• Scanning
• Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services (A UCF ILL form is available online at: http://library.ucf.edu/ILL/. ILL requests may be submitted up to 5 times per week and may be renewed or returned at the SCC/UCF Joint-Use Library circulation desk.)
