About the Joint-Use Libraries

The Joint-Use Libraries collections are located in the BCC/UCF Joint-Use Library-Cocoa at UCF at Cocoa and in the BCC/UCF Palm Bay Library at UCF at Palm Bay. The BCC/UCF Joint-Use Library is shared by the University of Central Florida, Brevard Community College, and the Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC Library). The collection supports the curriculum and research of BCC, UCF, and FSEC. The BCC/UCF Palm Bay Library is shared by, and supports the curriculum of BCC and UCF. Together, the two libraries include over 120,000 book volumes, more than 1000 current periodical subscriptions, and a large number of research databases.

Faculty, students, and staff with valid UCF IDs may use the BCC and UCF collections and services in either library, and can access most of UCF's database subscriptions. Valid users may borrow up to ten items at a time for a period of three weeks. In addition, they may submit interlibrary loan request five times per week for items from the Orlando campus library. Orlando campus library items may be renewed or returned at the joint-use libraries circulation desks.

Please see the Joint-Use Libraries Library Services page for additional information, or contact any of the UCF Cocoa or Palm Bay Librarians.
