UCF Libraries Virtual Exhibits: International Exposure

In addition to our on campus exhibits, our Special Collections and
University Archives department also offers a variety of Virtual Exhibits
that can be easily accessed via the internet. This allows all of
our friends around the world the opportunity to enjoy what we have to
offer in the University
of Central Florida Libraries. These Virtual Exhibits cover topics
such as adoption of children in the state of Florida during the
twentieth century, a Floridian's nature art gallery, and a wonderful
collection of West Indies artwork.
A
Brief History of the Children's Home Society of Florida
The
collection was processed in late 2006 by UCF graduate student April
Anderson as part of her thesis project to complete her degree
requirements for a Master of Art in Public History.
Joy Postle,
Florida Nature Artist
The Joy Postle Virtual Exhibit was made possible
through a gift by donor Denise Hall. Joy Postle was an artist best
known for her murals and paintings of Florida wildlife, especially
birds. The gallery contains examples of her work in a variety of media.
The Caribbean: Legacy of the Spirit
The Caribbean: Legacy of the Spirit brings
the Bryant West Indies Collection into the digital age. This virtual
exhibit showcases the rich resources the collection holds for the study
of the region.

Exhibits, please contact our
