Reporting Equipment Problems

Main Campus

Problems with paper jams, money loss, paper outages, etc. on the main campus should be reported as follows:

From the Copier Site

Many copier sites have an in-house phone attached to the wall for service calls. To make a service call, pick up the phone, press the unit (designated on the phone) desired, and report the location of the machine and the problem to the person answering the call. Follow the instructions given.

To the Copy Services Office, LR 229

The Copy Services Office, LR 229 is generally staffed during regular library hours (up to 9:00 p.m.). Staff members are called away from time to time to service the machines. If LR 229 is locked and immediate attention is required, report the problem to one of the service areas listed below and follow the instructions given.

To Other Service Areas

Various service areas throughout the library have been designated to assist patrons with machine problems. These areas are:

Problems with a card dispensers, copiers, or laser printer, inform a staff member at one of the service desks listed above. The problem will be radioed to a Copy Services staff member.

Problems with the microform machines should be reported to the media desk staff.

Rosen Campus

Report all problems with copy machines, printers, and card dispensers to the staff at the front service desk.  For more information on photocopying at the Universal Orlando Foundation Library at Rosen, visit their Photocopy Services page.
