All UCF faculty, staff and students use their UCFCard for all photocopying, printing, and microfilming in the main library, the Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) - Education Building - and the Universal Orlando Foundation (UOF) Library at Rosen. UCFCard are purchased at the UCF Card Office on the main UCF Campus. For additional information about the UCFCard, visit the UCF Card Office Web site.
Additional value may be added to the UCFCard by putting money into one of the six cash-to-card machines conveniently located in the libraries:
Cards can carry a maximum value of $100.00 on Purse #1. Card dispensing machines only take bills - $1, $5, $10, and $20. [NOTE: Patrons are encouraged to keep the value on their UCFCard relatively low because if the card is lost or stolen, the value cannot be added back onto the card or refunded.]
Non-UCF
patrons or patrons with no UCFCard may purchase a Visitor's
Card at one of the four cash-to-card dispensing machines located in the main library (see
locations above) or the machine near the copier in the CMC. The price of the card alone
is $5.00 - with no added value for copies. Additional value must to be added in order to use
the card for copying, printing, or microfilm. With the UCFCard
and the Visitor's Card, patrons are able to use the copiers, printers, and microfilm machines,
as well as other uses on campus, e.g., vending machines, etc. Like the
UCFCard, value can be added to the card up to $100.00. Card
dispensing machines only take bills - $1, $5, $10, and $20. [NOTE: Patrons are encouraged to
keep the value on their Visitor's Card relatively low because if the card is lost or stolen,
the value cannot be added back or refunded onto the card.]
Patrons without a UCFCard can request to use the Rosen Visitor Card at the front service desk. The patron must add money to the card via the cash-to card machine located next to the front desk. Refunds are not available, so visitors are encouraged to add to the card only the amount of money they expect to use.
The UCF Card Office handles all interdepartmental charges by UCF Departments/Colleges. Any questions regarding library copy card charges should be addressed to the UCF Card Office, (407) 823-2100.
